honest. But I don't have the time right now. Although I will say that people who put butter on their peanut-butter sandwiches are gross and wrong. Don't do that people, don't do that.
Have you tried it? Seriously, it's the only way to do it. Butter keeps the pb from sticking to your throat on the way down. And it improves the taste--honest!
Jam, yes. Honey, yes. Bananas? Not my cup of tea, but who am I to question the King? Butter or margarine, no. Sorry, Barb. It's weird. Peanut butter is supposed to stick to your throat. And adding butter makes it taste yucky. That's science. You can't argue with science.
Butter and peanut butter is the BEST thing in the whole wide world. I pity you for living a life without butter and peanut butter. Seriously. You should have your own telethon.
I used to think my mom was the only one who insisted on putting a 'primer' of butter on all sandwiches. I now think people do it because it was a traditional step in making British tea sandwiches. I watched a show once that demonstrated the proper way to make tea sandwiches and they had all sorts of reasons for the butter but I can't remember. Something about the texture, as well as the taste. I can go either way...Sometimes I think it does add to the taste but I also think that's due to nostalgic reasons - as if the butter triggers times from the past when everything was innocent and care-free. Food for thought....(I know, but puns are fun sometimes!)
I am awesome. Totally awesome, even. Just ask anyone.
I enjoy drinking in the afternoon.
I put ketchup on everything.
I think I would be a great tap dancer, if I ever tried tap dancing.
I am not a cat person.
I believe I posess super-human physical strength--I just haven't accessed it yet.

My mother-in-law does that! I'm glad somebody else thinks it's weird too.

I kind of don't think we can be related anymore.

Since we're on the topic, I'll divulge an old family favourite: peanut butter and cucumber.
