Sheesh, what's with all the natural disasters? Kind of makes posting about the new Vancouver H&M megastore's opening, or my bender in Seattle last weekend, seem a little irrelevant. I don't like feeling irrelevant. I don't want to be reminded that it can all come crashing down at any moment. I want the outcome of the season finale of America's Next Top Model to be the only thing I have to worry about this week. How dare reality. Why do bad things (that happen to other people) always have to happen to me?
At least I have a four-day weekend in Penticton to look forward to. If there's still a planet in two days.

It seems like these things always happen to those least equipped to handle it.
Of course, an H&M store opening here (mega or otherwise) could help me stop fretting about it for a bit....
What's wrong with irrelevant? You can't save the world through a blog. Personally I'd rather read about your "irrelevant" life than listen to yet another person pontificating about how bad things are in Burma and China and how much the world sucks, etc. I get enough of that depressing stuff just reading the newspaper.
Hmmm, what if an evil genius had the capacity to blow up the world, and he/she had his/her finger on the trigger, but said that he/she would spare the planet if you would write about it in your blog? Then a blog could save the world. Guess you didn't think that out completely. It's okay, not everyone has the ability to see the big picture like I do.
